Changes to Free Shipping to GIA
Dear DCWC Members,
As of May 10, the complimentary service to & from the GIA Carlsbad Lab has been reverted back to the pre COVID-19 schedule.
The two free shuttle days will be Tuesdays and Thursdays both for outbound (to the GIA) and inbound (from the GIA) shipments.

How Many Bitcoins for a 101ct., Flawless Diamond?
Sotheby’s will auction a massive flawless diamond valued at up to $15 million next month, making the rare move of accepting payment in cryptocurrency.

The pear-shaped, 101.38-carat, D-color diamond, known as The Key 10138, will feature in a single-lot live auction in Hong Kong on July 9, Sotheby’s said Monday. The diamond is the first jewelry piece for which the company is accepting digital coinage, and carries the highest estimate ever for a physical object publicly offered for purchase with cryptocurrency, it added. The buyer can pay for the stone with regular currency as normal, or use Ether or Bitcoin.

In 1979, my wife Sheila and I decided to expand our business. We traveled through London, New York, and Chicago finally deciding to move to Los Angeles as Landiam, the name of our company, in partnership with New York-based, Codiam. We joined the diamond club at its inception in the early 1980s (having been a longstanding member of the South African Diamond Club).

Botswana diamond could be the world's third-largest
A diamond believed to be the third-largest ever found has been put on display in Botswana.
