Artist of the Month:

Rhonda Schrum


Rhonda, a professional fiber artist, loves taking fiber arts classes and learning new techniques. Some areas she works in are: embroidery, silk painting, crochet, weaving, felting, beading and mixed-media. But most of all, Rhonda loves to share her creative ideas through teaching. She works with all ages in many different mediums. She also enjoys being part of exhibits and sharing creative techniques and ideas.

Sorting through family heirlooms?
 Keep an eye out for quilts that could be entered either in the antique category (over 50 years old) or in the bed turning. Please share the quilt's history, so we can share it with our audiences if you enter a quilt in the bed turning. These two categories have no entry fee, and no prize money.

CAC's 7th Wentzville Historical Mural is now on display on the Coe building, corner of Linn St. and W. Allen St.
This mural displays images of the Tobacco Agriculture in Wentzville during the 1800's - 1900's. Thank you to our many sponsors who assisted in this project.

In honor of Missouri's Bicenntenial, CAC is selling quilt challenge kits of red, white, and blue material.

"The State Historical Society of Missouri and the Saint Louis Ambassadors are teaming up to develop a bicentennial time capsule with a goal to collect items that document Missouri’s past, present and future."

We submitted a collage of our annual events to document how we are enhancing the arts in our community.
