From the Desk of Mrs. Tiezzi
Dear St. Rita Parents/Guardians,
Veteran’s Day is tomorrow (November 11) and St. Rita School will be open for a full day of learning. Teachers will spend time during the day tomorrow to teach our students about the sacrifices service members and their families make year round. Please take time out of your workday to acknowledge those men and women you know who so valiantly have sacrificed to keep our country safe.
Please save the dates for our upcoming Christmas Pageant and Concert. The band, chorus, and students in grades 4 & 5 will perform on Tuesday, December 14 at 1:15 at St. Rita Church. The Nativity Christmas Pageant, which is presented by the students in kindergarten through grade 3, will be on Wednesday, December 15, at 1:15 P.M. at St. Rita Church. Due to the ongoing Covid pandemic, two guests per student will be allowed and masks must be worn. The event will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person.
On January 10, 2020 St. Rita will host an Internet Safety program for both students and parents. Scott Driscoll, President of Internet Safety Concepts and former law enforcement youth officer, will present three separate programs: an in-school program for grades 4-5 students, another for grades 6-8 students, and an evening virtual program for parents. Scott’s presentation will heighten students’ awareness of what could happen if they are not thinking about safety or the consequences of using today’s ever changing technology. The parent program shows parents the positives and potential pitfalls of today’s most popular technology applications. More details will be shared closer to the event.
Please remember the following dates:

Thank you for entrusting your child/ren to our care. Enjoy the beautiful colors of fall and bundle up, winter is coming!!
