June 2021
It's time to check your roof!
This hurricane season, Rebuilding Together is reminding everyone that inspecting your roof is critical to hurricane preparedness. After repairing over 1,600 roofs over the last ten years, we know that nothing is more important to protect your family and your property than making sure your roof is secure.
Our Roof Restoration program: In Houston, many families in underserved communities do not have the means to pay for roof repairs. Please consider helping our neighbors who can't afford to keep a secure roof over their heads. Every dollar you donate to RTH helps put new shingles on a Houston home.

Support our Roof Restoration program
If you have a damaged roof and are a low-income homeowner in one of the City of Houston's 10 underserved "Complete Communities" (Acres Home, Alief-Westwood, Ft Bend Houston, Gulfton, Kashmere Gardens, Magnolia Park-Manchester, Near Northside, Second Ward, Sunnyside, and Third Ward), please submit an application today.

Our Outstanding Partnership with GAF

GAF, North America's largest roofing and waterproofing manufacturer, has partnered with Rebuilding Together on the Roof Restoration program.

GAF's large donation of roofing shingles will make it possible to offer this program at no cost to qualified homeowners. GAF also provides a guide to conduct an initial inspection of your roof. If you live in an underserved community and your roof is leaking or is in poor condition, Rebuilding Together may be able to help.

Caring for our neighbors
Christine Holland, Rebuilding Together Houston CEO, with Ms. Dalcour
Ms. Dalcour in Northeast Houston has faced challenges over the past four years, from Hurricane Harvey damage to burst pipes in this year's winter storm and an unresponsive insurance company.

Spoiler alert: thanks to Rebuilding Together, this story has a happy ending, but four months have passed since the winter storm and there are still homeowners that need our help to recover from the damage it caused.
