Inspiring a New Generation of Leaders
Throughout history, women have played significant roles in advancing social, political, economic, and cultural change. While there are more women today in key leadership positions than ever before, a pervasive gender gap still exists. Now more than ever, we have an imperative to prepare girls to be leaders, and that is exactly what Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey is doing.

The Girls Inc. Experience has a positive and lasting effect. Data from the American Institutes for Research (AIR) found that girls who receive the supports offered by Girls Inc. are significantly more likely to engage in activities and express beliefs that lead to physical and mental well-being, academic achievement, and the development of leadership skills. In fact, girls who attend Girls Inc. are more likely to see themselves as leaders, with the skills and capabilities of influencing and improving their local communities.

Check out our new PSA series to learn more about how Girls Inc. is building a new generation of leaders, inspiring them to grow up strong, smart, and bold. Together with your support, we are equipping girls to be the leaders of today and tomorrow.
