I have great news!

Amazon would like to give 0.5% of your amazon purchases to us at Lewiston-Clarkston Habitat for Humanity. All you have to do is activate Smile.Amazon on your Amazon account. Smile.Amazon is a separate portal from Amazon’s main site. The items, prices and benefits are all the same. The Amazon foundation will send us 0.5% of your eligible purchases.
It is easy to participate in this program and here is a link to a video that shows how to do it. All you have to do is go to smile.amazon.com in your browser. You will be asked to log into your account.  You will be taken to a page to choose your charity. At the bottom of that page is a search box. If you search Habitat Lewiston, and hit enter, we come up as the first result. Just click on our button and you are good to go.
When you shop, just be sure that you are on the smile.amazon website rather than the Amazon.com site so that your purchases count.
Thank you for considering choosing L-C Valley Habitat for Humanity as your charity. Deb, the staff, and the Board of Directors appreciate all of the hours and donations that you give to make this organization work. We can’t do it without YOU!
Sincerely,
Barbara Craigie

Coins for a Cause
Mrs. Cornell's 3rd grade class at Orchard's Elementary School collected Coins for a Cause this spring and wrote persuasive speeches that received votes to determine who would earn the donation. The winning speech, written by Paisley, was about L-C Valley Habitat for Humanity. Click here to watch Paisley's speech.
We visited the class at the school and presented Paisley with a special Habitat 30-year pin in recognition of her hard work.
TCUW Day of Caring
Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to the hardworking team from Avista Utilities who participated in the Twin County United Way Day of Caring by volunteering at the Habitat ReStore! Our front step, entry, and ramp walls all got a fresh coat of paint. Our bathroom also got a refresh with a new toilet, vanity, and light fixture. Your efforts made a huge impact on the overall appearance of the store. We can't begin to thank you enough!

THANK YOU to Idaho Forest Group who donated the bulk of the lumber package needed to build House #35!
Volunteer Spotlight...
Kasondra Burns graduated from UI with an English degree and floated about until she found a home at Habitat for Humanity. She volunteers in the office, helping on various projects, and enjoys it immensely. She has always had a spirit of service and helping others is her passion.
Her husband is a long-haul trucker, leaving her to care for their adult daughter, 2 dogs, 3 cats, 12 chickens, countless fish, and a hamster. She’s been in the valley 5 years and loves it: “The weather is perfect, the people are nice, and there are more opportunities here than elsewhere I’ve lived.”
To celebrate our 30th anniversary, join the 30 for 30 challenge. Volunteer 30 hours in 2021 or donate $30 to L-C Valley and get a 30-year Anniversary lapel pin.

This month the LC Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore would like to shine the spotlight on… us!

We have also made quite a few changes around the ReStore, starting with the name! At your local ReStore we aim to recycle, reuse and repurpose in the community we call home. All while raising money and being the “Store that builds homes”. We have set up a recycling center where you can bring your cans, plastic bottles, and glass and we will take care of the rest.

Finally, we proudly feature Green Sheen recycled indoor/outdoor paint at an affordable price for all of your painting needs! So come and see what is new at your local Habitat for Humanity ReStore with an inventory that changes daily and sometimes hourly!
Thank you LC Valley for your support of our Home is the Key fundraising program in April. Because of your generosity, we were able to raise $434 toward building home number 35. Every dollar makes a difference right here in our valley.
Did you have a great experience in our store?
We would love your feedback! Please click here to leave a review on our Facebook page.
