Fourth of July Safety Tips From the Fire Dept.
The birthday of our country is usually an exciting time, with outdoor parties, cookouts, boating and other summer time activities. One of the most popular, and one of the most dangerous, is the use of pyrotechnics as part of your Independence celebrations. As your community fire and EMS provider, we wanted to reach out and provide not only some safety tips, but what is allowed under City of Monona ordinance for personal pyrotechnics.
Monona Transit Survey
The Monona Mass Transit Commission is seeking feedback from riders and non-riders of the Monona Express and Monona Lift about the ways in which we can improve our current service models as we prepare to update our busing contracts. We want to hear from community members about the ways in which we can maximize transit options and opportunities in Monona, whether it be through a data-tracking app, alterations to our current schedule and drop-off and pick-up locations, or other meaningful changes. Please consider taking this brief survey about what Monona transit means to you. Thank you in advance for your input!
