Oakland Guaranteed Income Pilot Now Accepting Applications
East Oakland residents can now apply to receive $500 a month for 18 months as part of Oakland’s new guaranteed income program.

Golden State Stimulus
California will provide the Golden State Stimulus payments of either $600 or $1,200 total to families and individuals who qualify for the Cal EITC or file with an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number.

Americans experiencing homelessness have free options to claim the 3rd Economic Impact Payments and the Recovery Rebate Credit, even if they don’t normally file taxes with the IRS and haven’t received any payments yet. Click here to learn more.

An Oakland woman who survived sexual assault called for help. She didn’t feel safe providing much personal information, which limited the assistance offered. 211 staff referred her to the Alameda Health System’s sexual assault center and Bay Area Women Against Rape’s in-person sexual assault crisis services.

AHIP (AIDS Housing Information Project)
|
|
AHIP (AIDS Housing Information Project) offers housing and human services resource referrals to People Living with HIV/AIDS via a designated phone line and through one-on-one, in-person assistance at clinics and AIDS Service Organizations.
In May, AHIP completed 221 calls and 6 face-to-face meetings with clients, provided 741 housing referrals and 168 referrals to services. AHIP assisted 2 clients with Coordinated Entry System navigation and document readiness. Since July 1, 2020, AHIP has provided assistance to 293 unduplicated clients.

The ACEs Aware initiative is a first-in-the-nation effort to screen patients for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) to help improve and save lives.

Funder Spotlight - California Department of Transportation (Caltrans)
Funding from CalTrans will allow Eden I&R to expand our mobility management program through 211. This will include hiring a Transportation Manager and conducting a comprehensive review of current paratransit resources in Alameda County so we can give callers the best information possible.
