Rural Pediatric Continuing Education Conference

May 17 |  9 am - 4 pm | Presidents Dining Room (Macon)

The Georgia Rural Health Innovation Center will host a free in-person, full-day continuing education conference focused on fostering innovation in rural pediatric care. Topics include:

  • Addressing Disparities in Hearing Health Care
  • Pediatric Endocrinology—Innovations in Managing Obesity

Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) and Native Hawaiian Heritage Month

AAPI communities consist of approximately 50 distinct ethnic groups speaking over 100 languages, with connections to Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Korean, Hawaiian, and other Asian and Pacific Islander ancestries. From pioneering research to compassionate patient care, AAPI individuals have played an integral role in advancing medicine and improving health outcomes for countless people worldwide. Their dedication, expertise, and tireless efforts have saved lives, shaped healthcare policies, and inspired future generations.
