Service Hour Update - Underclassmen
Due to the pandemic, there is no service hour deadline for this school year. All students must still complete 80 hours of service (15 of which must be parish hours) in order to graduate from Xavier. Several questions have been asked about how service hours will be applied moving forward. The following guidelines should help to clarify:

Freshmen - required to earn 20 hours per academic year for the next 3 years and can make up the additional 20 hours from this year at any time.

Sophomores - required to earn 20 hours per academic year for the next 2 years and can make up the additional 40 hours from the past two years at any time.

Juniors - have already earned 20 hours from their freshman year. Required to earn 20 hours of service during their senior year. The additional 40 hours must be submitted and approved before graduation, but can come from any time during the high school career.

A Reminder About Exams
Exam Days are June 7 and 8. If a student is not present for the exams, they teacher may require the exam to be taken upon the student's return. We urge families to check the school calendar before planning vacations. Exams are an important part of the school year and teachers are not required to make them available early to accommodate vacations.
