FACULTY UPDATES

After 31 years of practice, Dr. Scott Biest, Chief of the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, will be retiring on June 30, 2024.


We offer our congratulations and support to Dr. Biest and his team as they prepare for his retirement. We sincerely thank him for his dedication, leadership, and many contributions to our department over the years and we wish him all the best.

Washington University Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery sub-specialists are experienced, double-board certified surgeons specializing in the evaluation and treatment of patients with pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, fistulas, birth-related injuries, mesh complications, fecal incontinence, overactive bladder, and recurrent urinary tract infections.


They see patients in two convenient locations in the Central West End and in West County at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Our comprehensive team also includes specialty trained nurse practitioner who specializes in recurrent UTIs and non-surgical treatment options.
