YOUR ADMINISTRATIVE LEADERSHIP COUNCIL AT WORK | |
The ALC is recommending the sale of the church bus and van. Both are old with lots of miles. They also both have a history of breaking down when in use, and that's just not safe. It's an unnecessary expense to continue to pay insurance on vehicles we do not plan to use. Our recommendation for the next year is to rent vans, when needed, for outings, and to look carefully at the costs associated before we buy new vehicles to replace the old ones.
To that end, the ALC is offering the vehicles for sale. We already have one offer for the van. If you are interested in purchasing either, please submit an offer to Tina Bean in the church office by March 6.
The ALC is also working on repairing the sign in front of the church. It will soon be removed so it can be refurbished due to weather-related damage. Because the light blue has faded so quickly in the sun, we will be changing to a dark green that should not fade as drastically.
If you have any questions, or would like more information, feel free to reach out to the Administrative Leadership Council Chair, Nell Bovender.
