Exercise with a surprise to benefit Caracole!
Caracole’s Cincinnati AIDS Walk + 5K Run is back and this year there’s a mystery a foot—your 5K route will be a surprise! You’ll even have the opportunity to sign up for several different experiences ranging from running or walking one 5K course to participating in a 5K every day!
Sign up is simple:
—Register for the event as a runner or walker
—Select the number of courses you’d like to run or walk
—Answer some fun questions
—Sit back and relax (or go for a run or two to prep!) while Caracole takes care of the rest!
Your 5K route will be unveiled in your registration packet the week prior to the event. Caracole has stretched this typical one day event into a week long experience. Simply participate any time between Monday, May 17 and Sunday, May 23 to qualify for medals and prizes.
Racing fundraisers are still going virtual—but that doesn’t mean you have to keep running the same course in your neighborhood over and over. Help raise vital funds for Caracole and their mission of positively changing lives in the fight against HIV/AIDS! Walk, or run, over to their site to discover more: caracole.org/AIDSwalk

Equitas Health is "On the MOVe"
|
|
Equitas Health launched its first mobile outreach vehicle at a celebratory event on Friday, March 5 at the Brightside in Dayton. The Jerry Clark, MD & Barry McCorkle, MD Mobile Outreach Vehicle (MOVe) is part of the regional community health system’s efforts to meet the health needs of those who have been left out or kept out of traditional healthcare settings. The MOVe program will also allow Equitas Health to get timely COVID-19 related services—like vaccines, testing, and personal protective equipment—to people and communities that mainstream public health efforts have missed.

A message from the Cincinnati Pride Board of Directors
The state of Ohio has begun reducing capacity restrictions and providing some guidance with regard to how festivals, concerts and other large gatherings can be held throughout the state this summer. These restriction changes are gradual, with hopes that we may return to some sense of normalcy as the summer progresses. Our Board of Directors stands behind our decision that there will not be a Pride Festival or our community's tradition of a Cincinnati Pride Parade in 2021.
Cincinnati Pride, as many of you have seen in the past, has grown to one of the largest, free festivals and parade events in the city - open to all. We made a precautious and intentional decision to cancel these two events this year to ensure that we are supporting the health and safety of our community members first while the COVID-19 pandemic continues to threaten our world. We are planning a series of programs and events - both in-person and virtual - to permit for safer gatherings and virtual engagement. As you have thoughts and suggestions on the kinds of events that can lift up and support members of our LGBTQ+ community, we are open to your ideas and look forward to partnering with you. Sound off in the comments below! Also visit the Get Involved section on our website - https://www.cincinnatipride.org/getinvolved.html
Remember that 52 years after Stonewall, "Pride" is about a movement, not a festival. Stay safe, Cincinnati.
