Student Spotlight
Rose Jimenez (NOAA EPP/MSI
CESSRST Graduate Scholar, Graduate Center/ CUNY) completed her NERTO recently under the mentorship of Dr. Matthew Cutler, NOAA Social Scientist at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center.
She produced a Story Map titled "Social Indicators of Gentrification Pressure" which was published by NOAA Fisheries as a fishery data product. Her work was mentioned in the National Fisherman Magazine on June 8th, 2021 in the article
titled Gentrification pressures
Northeast fishing communities.
