WomEn’s Leadership Forum a Huge Success!
The energy level was accelerated during the 11th Annual WomEn’s Leadership Forum, with nearly 300 people attending the event. Scholarships were awarded to seven high school students, three deserving women received Women Honoree awards, and the Power Forum guests told us about how they “charted their course” to success.
Courtney Godfrey, the Keynote Speaker, highlighted her course to success after a life-changing event. The Marketplace vendor area was buzzing. The popular Wine & Spirits Pull sold out and three lucky winners won the raffle packages, with proceeds going to the Chamber’s Charitable Foundation.

State of the City Eagan
Eagan Mayor Mike Maguire gave the annual State of the City address on March 17, reviewing the successes of the city in areas of economic development, parks and recreation, public safety, natural environment, business development, and community growth. MVTA Southwest Transit Survey
The Minnesota Valley Transit Authority and Southwest Transit are completing a systemwide study for the next five years. The purpose of the study is to provide a comprehensive study of current services operated by MVTA and SWT to examine any unmet needs and to identify additional routes and services that retain and capture new transit riders.

Dakota County provides up to $10,000 grant per business or organization location to reduce waste, design a new or improved recycling program or start organics collection. No funding match is required.
