The cost of healthcare is skyrocketing. Health spending in the United States is expected to grow 5% over last year, which will likely translate into increased premiums and out-of-pocket expenses... making every dollar count.

It is reported that 80% of medical bills are incorrect.

We want to help you catch any errors on yours. We are hosting two FREE virtual learning events this month to show you how to use your insurance documents to check for any billing mistakes. These sessions will only last 30 minutes, packing lots of good information into a short time. We are offering this webinar twice so you can pick the best day and time for your schedule.

Join us this Saturday, February 17th, at 12pm or Tuesday, February 27th, at 7pm.

Again, these events are free, but registration is required. Click the button below to sign up.

Earlier this month, TAI Founder and CEO Dr. Susan Bornstein was featured in a story on WAVE News to discuss medical bill errors, how to check your healthcare costs, and why it's important to advocate for yourself.

Community Partner Spotlight

We are fortunate to be working with eight community partners across the Commonwealth to help educate Kentuckians about health care coverage.

This month, we want to spotlight the Northeast Area Health Education Center (AHEC) located in Morehead.

Northeast AHEC works with medical students, residents, and providers in the region and at St. Claire HealthCare.

"It’s important for all of them to be equipped with the knowledge of healthcare and the benefits of what patients can expect with their healthcare plans in order to get the proper testing done for their medical needs. We have to cover all aspects of the medical profession in order to serve our community. If our community is having a hard time getting the proper insurance, it will be hard to give proper healthcare."

The Asclepius Initiative is also part of Kroger’s Community Rewards program. Select TAI as the charity of choice and a portion of the receipt will be donated to TAI each time the Kroger Plus Card is used. Signing up is quick and only has to be done once.

1. Go to KrogerCommunityRewards.com

2. Sign into using current login information or the number on the back of the card

3. Select TAI as the organization: search for us by name or by using our code, DG163
