OHIO’S OLDEST ULTRA

BUCKEYE TRAIL 50K

The Buckeye Trail 50k is Ohio’s oldest ultra - older than the Cuyahoga Valley National Park that it runs through. Now in its 27th year, the BT50K is regarded by many as the Masters of trail running.

The first year had just 13 finishers, including Steve Godale and Mark Godale who came in together in first place. Today it is one of Ohio’s most popular trail ultras. Running the course from Oak Grove south to Pine Lane and back, at some point you will see every other participant - over 200 of them!

Come run Ohio’s premier trail race and support the trails you love. Donations benefit the Crooked River Chapter of the Buckeye Trail Association.

RACE FOR THE PARKS 5K & 10K

Saturday, May 21st

The weather is looking perfect for race day! This 5k & 10k course is a combination of groomed trails at Hudson Springs Park and roads in the surrounding neighborhood. Swag features iconic images of our local parks. You won't want to miss this one!

Awards will be sponsored by our Hudson neighbors All-Around Cyclery, Heartwood Coffee Roastery, and Vertical Runner. Check out race sponsor Orangetheory Fitness, who will be onsite on race day.

Jaite to BT North/Valley Trail

Thursday at 6:30 pm

Park at the gravel lot next to the railroad tracks. If full, use the NPS paved lot by the park buildings. We will take the connector over to the Buckeye Trail and run north, then come back on the Valley Trail. There are two options – one is 3 miles, and the other is a little over 5 miles. All paces welcome.
