Thanks to our Summer Camp Coordinator Coach Annie!
The National Team is Here!
The Caspersen Rowing Center is the home of USRowing's National teams. With the 2024 Paris Olympics just around the corner, the National Team activities here have not only recovered from the pandemic but the stroke rating has markedly picked up. This year's World Championship is the last one before the Paris Olympic qualifications begin next year.

In early May the USRowing's Senior Team Trials 2 took place at Mercer followed by the first selection camp. In June the Paralympic Mixed 4+ was selected in a camp at Caspersen. The beginning of July saw more trials for the non-Olympic events as part of the USRowing Summer National Championship which was hosted by PNRA.
Currently the boathouse is awash with activity as the selection camps for the Men's and Women's 8+ and 4x are in full swing.

The final set of National Team Selection Trials for the W1x and M2x will take place on Mercer August 8 & 9.

The National Team will continue to train at Mercer until they leave for the World Rowing Senior World Championship in Racice, Czech Republic in mid-September.

So, when you see the tall, very fit person with calluses on their hands in the store stocking up on a lot of food, they just may be a part of TeamUSA.

Welcome to all the athletes! Welcome to our community! Thank you for making us part of your journey!
We look forward to sharing the water!
