Aloha Friends and Neighbors,

We hope you are having a happy and healthy summer. This week, we are winding down our first in-person summer school session since the pandemic started. This summer Hanahau‘oli served families from all over the island, and we were able to subsidize fees for 48 students in our 3rd annual The Skills We Need program.

We want to inform our neighbors that we will begin DPP permitted (BP#868266) work at 1911 Ke‘eaumoku Street on Monday, July 18 between the hours of 8am and 5pm daily. This phase of work will involve installing a wall/fencing around the perimeter, grading the lot, adding proper drainage and irrigation, and finally sodding the lot for future short term use as an open play area for students. We will be adhering to the dust control requirements and making sure all work is done according to code.

As always, please feel free to contact me directly should you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you in advance for your continued understanding and cooperation as we make the property safe and usable.

We will post a copy of this letter on our online community portal at https://www.hanahauoli.org/community-portal.

Sincerely,

Anthony Yee
