January Event

On January 24, ALI hosted Abe Friedman, Senior Advisor to Congresswoman DelBene, and Evan Giesemann, Tax and Trade Advisor to Senator Carper, to discuss how a new environmental goods agreement could be re-imagined and restarted. The group explored options for an EGA with allies, outside the WTO, and as well as an expanded agreement that would include environmental services.

The DTA investments are aligned with the African Union’s Digital Transformation Strategy, which outlines bold goals to capitalize on its digital potential by 2030."
