Roslyn Public Schools
SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
June 10, 2021

Dear Roslyn Families,

With profound appreciation we wish a fond farewell to Joseph Dragone, Assistant Superintendent for Business and Administration who will be retiring from the Roslyn School District at the end of June.

In the fifteen years that Mr. Dragone has spent in Roslyn we have successfully worked to regain control of the business office and have restored public confidence in the practices, protocols and procedures that effectively support our entire school system. For his business function guidance and instructional ability, we thank him for coming to Roslyn when the District needed him and for staying with us until our next business leader was ready to take on that mantle. We wish him much success and happiness.

We are proud to announce that Susan Warren, who has worked in District as our Assistant Business Manager for the past eleven years will take the next step and assume the role of Assistant Superintendent for Business and Administration on July 1st.

Ms. Warren is certified for this position and has worked toward this eventual goal. She has had the unique benefit of working in our District directly with Mr. Dragone for over a decade and in anticipation of this retirement, Ms. Warren has been trained and mentored specifically over the past two years and is ready for elevation to these new, more global responsibilities and interfaces.

We wish Ms. Warren well and offer her both our support and confidence.

Sincerely,

Allison Brown
Superintendent of Schools
