NEW: EC Overview Webinar
The NAIA Eligibility Center is hosting a webinar for new members, new campus staff and those wanting a refresher on the EC on Wednesday, November 3, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. (CT). Attendees will learn about PlayNAIA processes and navigating the website including: student registration, how to navigate student eligibility, using the NAIA Registrar Portal, and more. All members are welcome. Click here to register.
NEW: National Student Clearinghouse Integration and Webinar
On October 21, the eligibility center successfully deployed the integration between the PlayNAIA website and the National Student Clearinghouse’s Third Party Ordering for Educational Organizations system. The NAIA Eligibility Center will now be able to request transcripts on students behalf from colleges and universities that utilize this National Student Clearinghouse service. Student’s will see this ordering option during their PlayNAIA registration process if they’ve attended one of these schools.
Registrars can join us on Tuesday, November 2 at 1 p.m. CT to learn how the NAIA and the National Student Clearinghouse are reducing the student burden of requesting official transcripts by using the Clearinghouse’s Third Party Ordering for Educational Organizations. This service allows the NAIA to request transcripts on behalf of students from schools that are live with Transcript Ordering and get the students' transcripts back in 15 minutes or less.
Register here to attend the webinar, where you will learn more details on how this service reduces the cost to students and saves them valuable time, easing and speeding up the eligibility review process.
NEW: Eligibility Center New Hire
Maddie Friedrichsen has joined the NAIA Eligibility Center as a domestic team manager. Maddie was promoted from her previous role with the Eligibility Center seasonal staff.
Staff Training Closure
The eligibility center will be closed on Thursday, October 28 for a staff training. Thank you for allowing us this time to debrief on the fall peak and recommit to excellence moving forward.
