Active Volunteers Gather July 14
|
To honor the life and career of longtime Network Representative and Illinois Region co-founder Leone Anderson, the region is renaming our annual volunteer celebration in her honor.
Volunteers will gather to celebrate their accomplishments in addition to Leone's volunteer legacy on Sunday, July 14 at the mansion at Allerton Park & Retreat Center, Monticello, Illinois.
-
Regional Advisor Emerita, Esther Hershenhorn, and friends, will speak to Leone's service and memorable #kitlit career.
- Surprises to celebrate our 60+ active Network Representatives and Regional Volunteers!
- A celebratory brunch, catered by Blue Dragonfly, in the venerable Allerton Mansion.
Past Regional Team Members and Current Volunteers invited.
Look for your Evite in your mailbox this month.
|
|
Volunteers, join colleagues for brunch and spend the day touring gardens at Allerton Park & Retreat Center. See Evite for details.
|
Along with the Galena-Freeport Area Network, Leone Anderson was still submitting her stories at 100 years young.
