REGISTRATION PROCESS
The registration booth where you will get your athlete badges is noted as a green star on the map below. It is off to the left of the lobby as you walk in the main doors to the Westin.

When you arrive, have available and ready to show when you get to the front of the line:
  • Photo ID (Teen/HS - school ID or birth certificate is acceptable)
  • Your USA Powerlifting Membership Card (please download a new one, they now contain a barcode to scan). You can either print the card or display it on your phone.

DO NOT lose your badges, they will be required to enter the venue and warm-up area.

Registration will only be open the following times:
If you arrive outside the posted times, you will not be able to access the venue as a spectator. Please plan accordingly if you want to spectate.
EQUIPMENT CHECK
There will be 4 stations for Equipment Check. You will want to proceed to the station for the platform you are assigned to. Not sure which platform? Please check the Roster, the sixth column represents your platform.

Bring all items you plan to wear on the platform to equipment check.

As a reminder, ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE WASHED and in good repair (no holes or tears) and must comply with the USA Powerlifting Rules Equipment Specifications and apparel with the USA Powerlifting's Apparel Policy

Any Equipment not cleaned will be rejected. This is the time to do laundry!

Only one [1] person may accompany you through equipment check due to space limitations in the room.
RACK HEIGHTS
Rack Heights can be obtained in the Equipment Check Room.

Please plan to get your rack heights as soon as able to check that off the list. The room with the racks will be open all day for your convenience.

There will be a laptop for you to enter your rack heights electronically or you can do so by going to register.usapowerlifting.com
WEIGH-INS
Weigh-ins will be done by:
  • The platform you are scheduled to compete on;
  • The flight you are scheduled to compete in;
  • Lot #

Lot# are posted on the wall outside of the weigh-in room prior to the start of each sessions weigh in.

Please pay attention to where your lot number is in relation to your flight. If you are not present when your lot# (name) is called, the rules state you go to the end of the line and will wait until the other lifters have an opportunity to weigh-in.

Please review pages 33 & 34 of the rulebook for more information on the weigh-in process at National meets.

You will need to have:
  • Photo ID (If Teen/High School, birth certificate or school ID acceptable)
  • Opening attempts in kilos. If you are used to using pounds, you must round your attempt to the nearest 2.5kgs. For example, if you want a 130lb bench, you must select the closest kilo which will be either 57.5kg or 60kg.
  • Rack Heights and equipment check must be completed prior to weighing in.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Drug Testing Chaperone's Needed!

What is this job? You accompany some of the best athletes in the Nation after the completion of their session and escort them to the doping control room. Simple, but an important job for keeping our platforms drug free!

Requirement: Must be 18 years old +
