June 2021 Giving Update
Our giving goal for June is $169,932 for the mission and ministry of Christ Lutheran Church & Education Center. You have generously contributed $31,644 for the month to date. We have $138,288 remaining to meet our goal. We are thankful for all of you who are making a commitment to assist in the advancement of our mission: Together in Christ that others may know Christ. Your gifts, small and large, are vital to this mission – especially in these uncertain times. If you haven't joined us yet, just click on the “Give” tab below... it's super easy... and a great blessing to many! Did you know? Your contributions support our church staff in their work of leading our volunteer teams as we carry out ministry onsite and virtually – thank you! Our May giving goal was $156,468 and you gave $150,892 - thank you!
Stewardship Thought: Life Prosperity
You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. (2 Corinthians 9:11) What does life prosperity mean to you? How does generosity contribute to this?

Initial Gallup Member Engagement
Survey Results
Back in April we participated in a congregation wide member engagement survey through the Gallup Organization. We are making these results available to you. You can either click on this link or pick up a copy at the Together Point in the lobby area. We are in the early stages of evaluating these results as an Executive Ministry Team (EMT), and as we determine our action steps moving forward we will continue to communicate that to the congregation.

Youth Ministry
We don’t need to look far to see that our teenagers are hurting. While today’s parents, stepparents, and ministry leaders are more aware of teen anxiety, depression, and suicide, we often aren’t sure how to respond. We need practical, accessible, and trusted resources that spark vital conversations with our teenagers.

That’s why our youth ministry is beginning a new four-week series called Faith in an Anxious World. This Summer, we want to propel your young person and other students toward a deeper understanding of Christ—one in which he becomes to them not simply a teacher and miracle worker, but a living, breathing example of the wholeness we can experience in our daily walk with God. Each week they’ll talk about anxiety, delve into stories throughout the Bible where God enters into an anxious situation and uses it to nurture growth, and discover spiritual practices they can use to look to God as they navigate daily life. And each of our gatherings will prompt students to have meaningful conversations beyond their youth meeting times.
Care Ministry
Our group focuses on the Caregiver’s well-being and finding strength for our calling through a strong relationship to Christ. Take time for YOU and join us for our Zoom sessions on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month.  This group is the perfect opportunity for YOU to develop relationships with others caring for a loved one and to find strength in Him.
Please email Melissa at melissa.wenzl@clcop.org for the link to join us or for more information.
