Featured IAWF Sponsor: Soraya Hendesi, SNOWBERRY

Founder of Snowberry anti-aging skin care brand, Tehran born Soraya Hendesi left Iran with her family in 1976 to the U.K. She has since lived in the U.K., Canary Islands, Spain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, San Francisco and now resides in New Zealand. Snowberry, the brand she created is recognized by industry professionals worldwide, as one of the world's most innovative brands. Snowberry is a natural skin care range that also benefits from a long-term investment in innovative skin science. Founder, Soraya Hendesi, who originally hails from Tehran and now a New Zealand citizen, set out to create anti-aging skin care that is as natural as possible but which also takes advantage of the latest and safest of dermatological science the world has to offer.
Says Soraya Hendesi, "I love nature but when it comes to skin care I want it to be able to do more - and that's really only possible when you can incorporate the kind of scientific advances that we have achieved, this past few years."
From a research program of some 5 years at the University of Auckland School of Pharmacy a collaboration between Snowberry's Chief Scientist Dr. Travis Badenhorst and a team of the University scientists created a world-first delivery system for the skin remodeling copper tripeptide 1, a naturally occurring, multi-functional peptide that is instrumental in skin healing that will stimulate natural collagen and elastin production; as well as helping to counter one of skin's worst enemies - persistent inflammation.
Snowberry had their New Radiance Face Serum subject to gold standard clinical trial at Germany's Dermatest Medical Research Institute, which showed that the serum will reduce wrinkle volume by an average of 25.6% in only 8 weeks - a remarkable result, which out-performs many prescription-only retinoic acid treatments and Retinol as well as one of the USAs top selling serum. It is rare for cosmetic products to go through such scrutiny, with most beauty industry "clinical tests" being less rigorous, and sometimes self-reporting.
On the basis of this innovative antiaging science and the clinical trial, the New Radiance Face Serum was the only anti-wrinkle product in the world, invited to be presented to the 23rd World Congress of Dermatology in Vancouver.
This is not the first time Snowberry has gained international attention:
Snowberry winner of:

Most Innovative Brand - Cosmoprof USA, 2011
Silver Dieline Award - Chicago - Best Global Brand 2010
Runner Up Most Favourite Brand, Cosmeeting Paris 2010.
