Dear FitnessWorks Friends,

On Saturday, April 20th, FitnessWorks, with much help from dozens of its members and other community givers, restored beauty and nature to Morro Bay's well-travelled Quintana Road. If you've walked, driven or biked on Quintana Road during recent months, you've undoubtedly seen the aftermath of months of encampments, including trash, debris, furniture and other rubbish. Most of that area is privately owned property, so it took the coordination of the property owner, the City of Morro Bay, and FitnessWorks to organize the re-beautification of the land.

"We are so grateful to the City of Morro Bay and the Morro Bay Police Department for managing the encampment issue on Quintana Road. Last Saturday was an unbelievable team effort from gym members, staff and other caring individuals from our community, returning that space to its natural beauty", Owner Debbie Kaloi-Pettit expressed in gratitude. "FitnessWorks would like to thank everyone who donated their time last weekend in this worthwhile effort".
