Good afternoon – Please join us on May 15th for a webinar to learn about the advanced nuclear small modular reactor (SMR) industry from federal government and industry leaders. 


This virtual event will feature the following panelists:


  • Christine King, Director, Gateway for Accelerated Innovation in Nuclear (GAIN), U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) 
  • Dr. Shannon Bragg-Sitton, Director, Integrated Energy & Storage Systems Division, Idaho National Laboratory (INL), DOE 
  • Matt Snider, Enrichment Operations Plant Manager, Centrus Energy Corp., High-Assay Low-Enriched Uranium (HALEU) production and advanced nuclear fuels fabrication


The webinar will be hosted by Stephanie Howe, Director of Energy Programs and Director of Human Capital at the Ohio University Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service.

Former Player Daryin Lewis Named Paints Field Manager


The Chillicothe Paints, presented by CohenOrthopedic, announce the hiring of Daryin Lewis as the club's field manager for the 2024 season, which begins Tuesday, May 28 in Lafayette, Ind.


"It's truly an honor to be back at the VA as field manager for the Paints," Lewis said. "So many memories have been made at this facility that go all the way back to my high school years. I am excited to be back in a Paints uniform. I'm excited to be around all the fans that support this organization. Most of all, I'm excited to compete for another Prospect League Championship. All items must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. for pickup.

No tires, batteries, household garbage, gas containers, paint or chemicals, or railroad cross ties will be accepted. All construction materials, such as drywall, porcelain, flooring, etc., must be taken to the dumpsters provided at the Village of Waverly Street Department located at 9040 State Route 220.
