  1. aging parents and being more involved in their lives before the realities of additional health concerns surface;
  2. more frequent visits to spend quality time with Mari’s cousins;
  3. my parents’ emerging succession plan for the family business (more about that below); and
  4. specific medical care for my hypertriglyceridemia at The Ohio State University where they specifically study and treat this condition to help ensure it will be well managed.
In addition, the pandemic magnified the need and desire to return to Ohio sooner than later. Continue reading...

Life Groups
As we discussed at last year’s Annual Meeting and Creating Our Future Together Gathering #4, we will be offering small groups to build faith and community at St. Paul’s. Life Groups are small groups of up to 12 people, including a convener, that meet monthly for prayer, fellowship and a discussion or activity related to the group’s purpose. Due to precautionary measures associated with the pandemic, Life Groups will begin meeting virtually using Zoom or some other virtual platform. The Book Discussion Life Group and Contemplative Prayer Life Group will begin soon. If you have additional ideas for specific Life Groups and/or you wish to serve as a Life Group convener, please contact Sonja Slother, Director of Communication and Ministry Development (sonja@spcbuffalo.org).
