Arrowhead Activities Recap

Summer Scouting activities are in full swing in Arrowhead District. Early in the month 20 Cub Scouts (Tiger to Arrow of Light) had a great time at Cub Day Camp. Well done to Camp Director Denise Williams, Program Director Abby Macintire and their adult and youth staff for a superb Day Camp!

ScoutsBSA troops are also active, attending summer camps, going on float trips, and attending some of the BSA's High Adventure Bases.

It is great to see lots of Scouting activities, and this will continue into the fall with Fishing Derby and Cub Haunted for Cubs, specialized camping weekends (First Responder, Religious Programs, Fishing Camp) for ScoutsBSA, and Powderhorn for older Scouts, Venturers and adults.

But, increased activities require increased resources, so...

Join us Thursday July 1st to kick off the 4th of July weekend and help raise funds to maintain the high level of activities. Everyone is welcome to attend, just please RSVP to Derrick as indicated above. Scouts and Scouters are encouraged to wear Activity shirts. Since this is a fund-raising event, everyone will be requested to make a donation. For those of you who have already given (Thank You!), just RSVP and come and enjoy. If you want to get a jump on the donation paperwork you can download a personal or business form below. Please direct any questions to Derrick at 205-902-2620 or Derrick.Russaw@Scouting.org.
