Reach. Renew. Reimagine
Message From the Chapter President

Take a moment to breathe in the spring air. I find myself often, pausing to just breathe. Pausing to re-center myself. Pausing to push past the worries or stresses of the day. Our April presenter, Claire Becker, challenged us to look beyond the change we experience on a surface level, to focus on the end results and allow ourselves to transform with that change.

Take a moment to reflect on our chapter’s growth, not in numbers, but in strength and support for one another. We have been challenged to think differently, find solutions, envision the future. We have made it! The next few months we will begin utilizing a hybrid meeting model and I look forward to seeing many of you in-person once again. Sure, I need to shake off my public speaking jitters once more and prepare to hold the microphone as I welcome all of you.

To wrap up, check out Claire Becker’s unique approach to “spring cleaning”. Cleaning beyond physical space and items, but spring cleaning of the mind. Her list includes dusting off your sense of purpose, cleaning up your mindset, reorganizing your priorities, donating your time & resources to something bigger than yourself, discarding one thought that isn’t serving you anymore and spring cleaning with friends!

I look forward to seeing you all in May for our EWISP Celebration.

Not a gardener? Not to worry, they have porch pots, planters and services available.

This is a simple way for our Chapter to earn funds to be used towards our Operating Fund while beautifying our gardens.

The #1 New York Times bestseller―now a #1 Netflix series!

In the turbulent summer of 1974, Kate Mularkey has accepted her place at the bottom of the eighth-grade social food chain. Then, to her amazement, the "coolest girl in the world" moves in across the street and wants to be her friend. Tully Hart seems to have it all---beauty, brains, ambition. On the surface they are as opposite as two people can be: Kate, doomed to be forever uncool, with a loving family who mortifies her at every turn. Tully, steeped in glamour and mystery, but with a secret that is destroying her. They make a pact to be best friends forever; by summer's end they've become TullyandKate. Inseparable.
