Dear Friends,

Next week, I will begin a new class Intended for students pursuing Taijiquan program, Taiji-Qigong, and students just interested in Taiji for health and internal energy cultivation. The class will run for 1:15 hours, from 6:30-7:45 PM.

The curriculum will include Yang Style Bare-hand long form, Taiji footwork and balance training stationary and moving, qigong breathing, qi cultivation, qi circulation through yǒngquán, four gates, five gates, small circulation, and grand circulation, coiling and spiraling Jings via solo exercises, and Taiji Ball Qigong solo exercises. These subjects are common to both our Taijiquan and Taiji-Qigong programs. There is also significant overlap with our Medical Qigong Exercise Program.

If you are concerned about COVID and the emerging new variants, but do not want to put off indefinitely resuming or beginning your Taiji or Qigong training, this class is for you. There will be no physical contact and no partner exercises. The class will be limited to eight students so we can maintain approximately six feet distancing while exercising. All participants must provide proof of COVID vaccinations. Masks will be worn throughout the class. As with all our classes, the HEPA air filtration machine and the HVAC with top-quality filters will be operating.

For students not currently enrolled, the fee is $240 for three months.
