  • Write down your username and password for the OpenCCC account (this account is different from your Moorpark College student account, which is Step 4 below).
  • If you do not have any legal documents, under the citizenship section select “other.” Then, under visa type, select "other" or “no documents."
  • OR CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING TAX RECOMMENDATION: If you identify as a DACA recipient or have an ITIN, use your DACA Social Security Number or your ITIN, and under the citizenship section select “other.” For visa type, select “other.” Then, enter the issued date and expiration date of your DACA Social Security Number or ITIN.

  • If you were classified as a non-resident, you will also receive a follow-up email from your acceptance email (where you first got your 900# Student ID) informing you that you need to fill out an additional form. You may also see a higher tuition fee (out-of state tuition) on your account upon enrolling in courses. Not to worry! You may still be eligible to pay in-state tuition if you meet the criteria for either/or of the options below:

Quick questions such as, choosing a major or which classes to take, applying for a degree, certificate, or IGETC certification, speak to a counselor the same day during virtual drop-in counseling. Counselors can also assist with class schedule, petitions, unit overload requests, and other quick questions via drop-in counseling. Drop-in counseling is also the easiest and fastest way to have a pre-requisites.
Moorpark College's General Counseling services are now divided by Area of Interest. Each pathway has a team of people who work closely together to provide you with specialized counseling and support for majors within the pathway.
