The Missionary Training Center (or M.T.A.) is an immersive program for children to learn what it's like to prepare for the mission field. They'll learn Bible study skills, how to share the Gospel, be immersed in the country/culture they may move to, and learn basic life skills that are helpful on the mission field. We still have leadership roles available!

Each year, dozens and dozens of international students and faculty scholars attend Appalachian State University, right here in our own backyard. On Sunday, June 27, from 2-4pm, we'll hold an informational meeting for those who are interested in becoming involved in the lives of international students. One of our Elders, Barrie Winn, will be leading a group through The Colson Fellows Program. This is a 10-month program for Christians to take a “deep dive” into worldview and culture, learning how to engage the culture with the Christian worldview and developing plans for their personal ministry.
