RPT Vice Chair Candidate Forum
June 10th
I hope everyone had a relaxing holiday weekend. We are taking a break from election integrity to focus on the RPT Vice Chair election coming up at the RPT Convention in Houston, June 16th - 18th.
Current declared candidates Adrianne Pena-Garza, Alma Jackson and Dana Myers will be on the call to answer questions and discuss their vision for the party. This will be an important conversation, especially for those of you who are participating in the TAD Convention Challenge and will be voting as delegates at the RPT Convention in June. So mark your calendar for June 10th! In the meantime, we would love for you to share any topics of interest you would like to hear discussed. Please email your ideas to tad@toniannedashiell.com.
If you've missed any of our last call election integrity calls you can watch those here!
And don't forget to register below for our call if you haven't already! If you have registered for a previous call you do not need to register again.

Parliamentarian Training & Certification
Have you ever been interested in learning more about how to help your party in a parliamentary capacity? The RNC has created a guide on training opportunities in parliamentary procedures and certifications available.
The parliamentarian plays a crucial role at formal committee meetings and conventions. They ensure proper procedure is followed so committee business can move forward. Parliamentarians are experts in interpreting and applying Rules of Order, such as Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

This Week’s Primary Elections
We are seeing record turnout and enthusiasm in Republican primaries across the nation because Republican candidates and voters understand the stakes of this election. Whether it is record gas prices, an unprecedented baby formula shortage, or rising inflation for all goods this Memorial Day weekend, Americans are experiencing the real-life consequences of Joe Biden’s failing polices.

What you need to know:
  • In Georgia, Republicans overperformed their historical primary vote share totals compared to 2020 and 2018, while Democrats underperformed their historical vote share.x
  • Just months ago, Democrats breathlessly attacked the state of Georgia for its new election integrity law, claiming it would suppress minority turnout. MLB even withdrew their All-Star Game from Atlanta, costing the community tens of millions of dollars. However, minority turnout in this week’s early voting period was dramatically higher than in 2018.
  • In the Texas runoff election, Republicans nearly doubled Democrats’ votes in both the Attorney General Runoff and the Land Commissioner Runoff.
  • This record turnout builds on the enthusiasm we have seen in other primary states so far.
  • Republicans continue to nominate a great slate of candidates across the country, including in Georgia, where Herschel Walker will defeat Sen. Raphael Warnock in November.
  • Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR) and incumbent Gov. Kay Ivey (R-AL) secured the Republican nominations for Governor in their respective states – come January, both states will be led by Republican women.

The bottom line:

While Republicans can’t get complacent ahead of November’s election, this week’s primary results are yet another encouraging sign of things to come when all Republicans unite around our primary winners in November
