CELEBRATING YOU - OUR NURSING ASSISTANTS

We want to celebrate YOU during Nursing Assistants Week this year. Last year we had to stay apart to stay safe, but now, thanks in part to the vaccine, we can get together to celebrate! We invite you in to either office to celebrate with us during the week of June 14-18 for "Nursing Assistant Week".

We have a gift for you, some treats to eat, and a chance for you to win some pretty great prizes in our final *Grand Prize Drawing, which concludes our week of celebration on Friday! All you have to do is visit the office anytime Monday through Friday, June 14-18, to ensure your name is entered into the drawing. We can't wait to see you!

*Winners in the grand prize drawing will be contacted after close of business on Friday,
June 18.
**Check our employee closed Facebook group June 14-18 for previews of the grand prizes you could win!
Premier the New "Welcome to Advanced Health Care" Video

We have been busy working on a special project for almost 6 months now and we are thrilled to finally share the finished product with you! It was our goal this year to create a "Welcome to AHC" video for all new AHC employees and potential new hires to view that would accurately communicate our company culture, our values, and a bit of our history. We thought it would be best for our story to be told directly from those who know us best - our amazing caregivers, staff, and clients!

We hope you enjoy this video as much as we do. A special thank you goes out to the employees who agreed to step out of their comfort zone and be filmed for the production of this video. We think they are STARS!

Happy Father's Day to all of the dads out there who are a part of the AHC family! We hope you enjoy your day and feel the love and support of your family.

Employee Recognition: What Your Clients Are Saying About You

We've had the opportunity this month to both witness and hear about how YOU all are helping our clients and making a difference in their lives. We want to highlight some of those quotes here:

Therese C and Laura L., "I live in a continuing care community. This company [AHC] was at the top of their list. Other people use them here. The two ladies I have are nice, considerate and sweet. They have good qualifications and are helpful and understanding."
Linda B., client

Michael C. "Not many caregivers have the patience or interest in really connecting with Charlie, who has Down Syndrome, but Michael is an exception. Charlie really responds to Michael and Michael also appears to enjoy spending time with Charlie. Charlie has always been hard to match; so many people are put off by his disabilities, but Michael knows how to see past his disabilities and see the person he is. We're so grateful for the time Michael has been able to spend with Charlie."
Suzanne P., sister of client

Loli H.C. "Our caregiver is excellent. She is so kind and so patient. It would be really hard to manage without some help. She stays with him. I don't ever feel uncomfortable having to leave, knowing she is very careful in making sure he doesn't fall. She anticipates what needs to be done."
Diana F., spouse of client

Diem N. "She does whatever will make it easier for me. She is kind and helpful. She is doing great!"
Nellie L., client

Amanda M. "Amanda was so perceptive and gives me the help that I feel I need, but don't want to ask for. She also helps with my stroke problems. I was impressed by how self-motivated she is and how polite she is."
anonymous client

Larisa J. "I exercise outside, and she keeps an eye on me from falling. I haven't fallen since she started with me, and normally I fall a couple of times a week. She's good with suggestions and she gives advice about making decisions. She is respectful of our needs. She also has a good attitude."
Douglas M., client

We are so proud of all of the work that you do with our clients. We look forward to highlighting employees in this column every month!
