Sanctuary Choir is Back!
Come make a joyful noise to the Lord on Tuesday evenings! Sanctuary Choir resumes rehearsal Tuesday, June 8th from 5:45-6:45. Handbell Choir will continue to rehearse from 7-8 on Tuesdays as well. We would love to have you join us for either or both ensembles!
Acolyte Ministry
We are inviting all 3rd-grade children and up to participate in our NEW Acolyte Ministry!

What is an Acolyte?
Acolytes are worship leaders who are "light-bearers," symbolically bringing in the light of Christ into our worship experience.

Summer Ministry 2021
SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL: We will gather in the Fellowship Hall - All ages - for a time to explore what it means to be neighbors! We will begin June 6. Neeley and Courtney will be leading. Sundays at 10:00 am. We will NOT have Sunday School on July 4.

MATTHEW 25 STUDY: Our church said YES to being a Matthew 25 church. We will unpack more about what this means and how we can "act boldly and compassionately to serve people who are hungry, oppressed, imprisoned or poor". Tuesday evenings beginning June 8 on Zoom at 6:30 pm. June 29th is our last study in this series.

2021 SALEM CAMP MEETING
MEETS IN PERSON
    Monday, July 12
is First Presbyterian Day!

Salem Camp Meeting will meet in person July 9-16, 2021.  Services are held at 11:00 AM and 7:30 PM daily.
FPC's Ambassador Choir will sing Monday morning, July 12, for the 11:00 AM Service. Alice Walker has invited all members of First Presbyterian Church and their families to a complimentary lunch at Salem Hotel after the Service.
Lunch reservations should be made to Alice by Friday, July 9

Ambassador Choir
on the Road Again!
Ambassador Choir, combined with Singing Saints from First United Methodist Church, is back together again. The combined group, called the Singing Ambassadors Choir, has received invitations to sing at The Oaks at Ashton Hills, Salem Camp Meeting (July 12), and Smyrna Camp Meeting. These venues will be outside, and choir members will wear singers' masks and be socially distanced.
