Sunday's San Francisco Chronicle Bay Area & Business Section reported that, "The California Redistricting Commission has published its first official draft of the State's new political boundaries, kicking off a crunch time that will determine how Californians are represented by their elected officials for the next decade." This week's Online Briefing for Faith Leaders, hosted by the San Francisco Interfaith Council, welcomes Northern California Outreach Lead for the California Citizens Redistricting Commission, Ashleigh Howick, who will present on the Commission's composition, share background on redistricting history and share insights on how to participate in the state redistricting process.

Ashleigh Howick
Northern California Outreach Lead
Ashleigh is the Northern CA Outreach Lead for the CA Citizens Redistricting Commission where she supports the Commission’s redistricting process by conducting outreach throughout all of Northern California and engaging stakeholders. She joined the Commission after completing her role as the 2020 Census Coordinator for the City of Fremont also with a primary focus on community outreach. She has also served as a Regional Political Director, acting as a liaison between a State Assemblywoman and their constituents.
