Columbus Expansion Construction Updates
With the brick walls near completion and the roof installation underway, the new School of Medicine building continues to take shape in Columbus! As construction advances on our riverfront campus, our faculty and staff have now moved into the temporary space, where they will welcome the inaugural class of 30 first-year MD students starting this coming August.
Dr. Barkin Contributes to Climate for Health Blog
How does extreme weather affect a child's mental health? Dr. Jennifer Barkin shares some of her findings related to this question in an article for the Climate for Health blog. Her research is focused on the effect of extreme weather events on maternal and children's mental health.
Pediatric Medical Student Research Forum
The 7th Annual Pediatric Research Forum for medical students is taking place in Orlando, FL, on September 4, 2021 in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. The forum is a great opportunity for all medical students to share their research with peers.
