Roslyn Public Schools
SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
May 18, 2022

Dear Roslyn Families,

Thank you for supporting the 2022-2023 Roslyn School District budget, which was approved by the community last night.

Also passed were Proposition 2, the 2022-2023 budget for the Bryant Library; Proposition 3, giving the district authorization to expend $396,000 for various school buses and vans; and Proposition 4, authorizing expenditures from two existing Construction Capital Reserve Funds established for the purpose of performing various projects.

Families choose to live in Roslyn in large part because of the top-notch education that we offer and I’m so grateful that the community voted in favor of our budget. Your support allows us to provide the educational resources that every child in our district needs and deserves.

I want to congratulate Bruce Valauri on his re-election, and Robert Koonin and Alison Gilbert on their election to the Roslyn Board of Education. I look forward to working with all the Trustees in the coming year.

On behalf of the Roslyn Board of Education, thank you for your continued support of our children's education and programs. I, along with my faculty, staff, and administrative team, look forward to continuing our tradition of academic excellence into the next school year!

Sincerely,

Allison Brown
Superintendent of Schools
