Village Approves Philip Estates PUD Subdivision
|
On May 25, the Village Board preliminarily approved the Philip Estates planned unit development (PUD), which includes 34 acres of undeveloped property on East Cuba Road. The area has been carefully planned to help preserve and enhance environmentally sensitive spaces, and consists of 19 single-family lots with public sewer and a water main system that connects with an adjacent subdivision. A proposed pathway system would link together the scenic corridor and conservancy easements within the development, and provide for future opportunities to connect with nearby Lake County Forest Preserve properties.
