What the Bulldog Fund Supports
The money raised pays or expands programs and resources that are an important part of elementary education, but are not paid for by the district and/or State. For 2020/2021, the Bulldog Fund needs $74,000 to pay salaries and support for the following programs: Classroom Aides, Library, Music Program and the Rainbow Room.

Funds raised now will be used for the 2021/2022 school year. Money raised now will affect which programs our children will have access to for the next school year. Fundraising is imperative to continue the programs our kids benefit from.

Write letter to State Leaders
about clarity on school safety
Dear Parents,

You may be aware the SRVUSD Board of Education is planning for the full reopening of schools for the 2021-22 school year.

The Board is also exploring a district-wide remote program for those families who need it.
Last week the Board of Education sent a letter to leading State officials and elected leaders advocating for clear guidance on physical distancing as they plan for Fall 2021. You can view the letter and see to whom it was sent by following this link: SRVUSD BOE ADVOCACY LETTER.

PTA believes schools need to open as soon as practically possible while protecting the health and well-being of students, staff and families. California’s students are counting on the Legislature and the Governor to come up with a realistic school reopening plan that meets the needs of all our school communities.

Please participate in PTA advocacy by writing to our elected officials
asking them to provide the necessary guidance on physical distancing
so that SRVUSD can plan for full-time in-person learning for fall 2021.

You can easily copy the letter provided below. Link to Letter
Please make a copy and add your name or make any edits to YOUR own version of the letter as you like. Please do not edit the template letter.
