New BioME Scholarship Program:
Awards & Grants for life science majors

We are proud to announce that starting in February 2021, BioME is offering scholarship opportunities to life science students through the BioME Scholarship Program!

Funded by Bioscience Association of Maine, a non-profit life science industry group devoted to advancing bioscience in Maine, the BioME Scholarship Program offers an opportunity for high school graduates, undergraduate and graduate students in the field of bioscience to realize and accomplish their academic goals.

This program is designed to help advance Maine students’ academic and professional careers in the field of bioscience, as well as enhance workforce development within Maine’s life sciences industry.

Applicants have the opportunity to receive a BioME Academic Scholarship or a BioME Summer Internship Award of $4,000 each. This program is available for Maine residents or students enrolled in Maine academic institutions only.

Upcoming Event:
BioME Student Showcase

Our 3rd annual BioME Student Showcase will be held virtually on April 28-29, 2021.

BioME Student Showcase is an exciting opportunity for Maine high school and college students to show off their passion for life science, and present their life science research for a chance to win cash and academic prizes. The high school finalist will automatically qualify to present their research at the International BioGENEius Challenge Finals at BIO Digital/International Convention in June.

We encourage you to share this opportunity with your friends and colleagues.
