'Repairing the World' Private Screenings in NYC

We are pleased to announce several upcoming screenings of NIOT's new film, "Repairing the World: Stories From the Tree of Life," in New York City with a screening at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Center-Manhattan on September 21, 2022 at 7 pm ET.

The film recently won the Best Documentary Award for its premiere at the Pittsburgh J-Film Festival and the Audience Award at the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival.


It will also be a featured film at the Boston Jewish Film Festival in November. Details on dates and times to come for those in the Boston area!

Summit on Hate


Not In Our Town leader Pardeep Kaleka will be speaking at the 'United We Stand' White House Summit to counter the corrosive effects of hate-fueled violence on our democracy and public safety on Thursday, September 15. The Summit will be live-streamed on WhiteHouse.gov

NIOT at the Eradicate Hate Summit


The Eradicate Hate Global Summit (Sept. 19-21) is the most comprehensive anti-hate conference in the world. It unites experts and leaders from around the globe, who are dedicated to eradicating all forms of hate-fueled violence. The mission of the Summit is to identify and implement effective solutions for collective change.


NIOT Leaders Patrice O'Neill and Pardeep Kaleka will be at the conference, appearing on several panels. NIOT will also be screening Repairing the World: Stories From the Tree of Life during the three-day summit.

MONTHLY WORKSHOPS FOR TEACHERS


We invite educators in your community to join us for our FREE monthly series of workshops on the second Tuesday of each month beginning Tuesday, October 11, 2022.  


Key Dates: 


  • Oct 11, 2022 - Bullying Prevention: Creating Safe Schools
  • Nov 8, 2022 - United Against Hate Week - Get Involved
  • Dec 13, 2022 - Building CommUNITY: Promoting Civil Discourse


Workshops will be limited to 50 participants and run for 1 to 1.5 hours in length.
