Here at home in Montgomery County, conservative voters have sent a clear message to Austin lobbyists and out-of-state special interests: "We the people are fed up." Despite the significant financial backing, totaling in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, aimed at spreading malicious slander and attacks against local conservative activists, genuine GOP conservatives have triumphed across the ballot. The runoff election in May will only further solidify this victory. Conservative voters have given the incoming Montgomery County Republican Party leadership a clear mandate: govern as conservatives, and let Texas run Texas!
