September 14 - December 2, 8th grade students are invited experience life at Magnificat by signing up for a Blue Streak for a Day visit day. Students will spend the day attending classes and co-curriculars with one of our sophomore
student leaders.

FALL OPEN HOUSE
All are welcome to Fall Open House on Sunday, October 3, 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Families will take student-led tours of campus and meet faculty and staff who will share more about academic, co-curricular, athletic, and faith-based programs at Magnificat.

Cara Heisterkamp '24 Makes
Final Eight at USGA Women's
Amateur Championship
|
In the Round of 16 of the USGA Women's Amateur Championship, 15-year-old Cara Heisterkamp '24 beat out a top 30-ranked world amateur to become the youngest player in the tournament's Round of 8. About her experience, Cara said, "There are few words that can describe the emotions I went through during the week of the US Women's Amateur Championship. From relief, to extreme joy and shock, to in the end, feeling surrounded by all-encompassing love not only from my family, but my whole community. I am grateful for all the support that I received from Magnificat and especially appreciative for the support I received from God. I could not have done what I did without either."

Calista Zajac '23 Takes
First Place at Fifth Annual
Shining Star CLE
|
In her third appearance in Menorah Park's Shining Star CLE singing competition, Calista Zajac '23 was voted into the first-place spot, winning the grand prize of $10,000 and a chance to perform with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra at Severance Hall. The competition raises money for the Montfiore memory care unit, a cause that has become important to Calista over the years: "Shining Star CLE has meant so much to me over the past three years and being able to be involved in this amazing organization has been such a blessing." Included in the grand prize is an additional $2,500 that will go toward Magnificat Performing Arts. Congratulations and thank you, Calista!
