Training Support
Training Runs begin this weekend on Saturday

Training season is here. Last weekend, we had a beautiful day for our kickoff event and fun run. This weekend, the PaceSetters of the Fox Cities Running Club hosts the first in person training run.

Join us at these free runs every Saturday, starting at 7 a.m. at Run Away Shoes, W3192 County Road KK, Appleton.

At our in-person training runs, the PaceSetters provide support to runners and walkers of all ages, paces and experience levels. Run/Walk support is provided for full, half and relay training. Relay runners are encouraged to use the half marathon schedule.

ThedaCare athletic trainers are also on hand to provide support.

New COVID Safety Protocols will be implemented this year:
  • Please wear a mask per your personal vaccination status or comfort level before and after the run – you can remove when running/walking
  • Practice social distancing at all times
  • Avoid congregating before and after training runs

With the improving conditions, we are now able to offer water on the course!
