We look forward to seeing you at the Synod Assembly. The following important reminders and information will help you prepare for the event.

Please check the Assembly website regularly for a list of Workshops, the Nominations Book, floor nominations documents, resolutions, constitution bylaw amendments, and lots of other information.

The Assembly will begin promptly with Opening Worship at 1:00 PM on Friday. Please be at your seats in the Palms Ballroom by 12:45 to have time to gather your thoughts and prepare for worship.

Printed worship booklets will be distributed this year. Please write your name on the bulletin. You will need to bring it to Evening Prayer and the Closing Worship. There will be no extra copies available. An electronic version of the booklet will be available on the Assembly website.

On Saturday night, Bishop Suarez is holding a reception in celebration of our synod’s candidates for rostered ministry. Please join us for light snacks, ice cream, and music, but most of all to meet those called to rostered ministry.

Nominations Update: We need a youth nominee for Synod Council who is a high school student, 15-17, male or female from any mission district. Also need nominees for the Discipline Committee: 1 female layperson and 1 female rostered minister. For Churchwide Assembly voting members, 1 male layperson from the Southeast Mission District; and 1 youth, high school student, age 15-17, male or female from any district.
