Barriers to Staying in West Virginia Student Survey
The 2023-2024 state Advisory Council of Students has developed a survey called “Barriers to Staying in West Virginia.”
This survey is designed to gain insight on factors that may impact students’ postsecondary plans, and what factors most influence students’ decisions on whether to remain in West Virginia post-graduation.
Please consider taking this short survey, which will help to improve the state of West Virginia.

Visit the Restocked Chicken Coop Food Pantry on Your Campus
Thanks to the generosity of fellow students, faculty and staff, Chicken Coop Food Pantries are now fully stocked with non-perishable non-perishable (canned) food, snacks, and personal hygiene items.

Spring Hygiene Drive
March 4-15
The Spring Hygiene Drive is a wonderful way to help fill our Chicken Coop Pantries across all three campuses with hygiene products!
Please consider donating the following items: Toothbrush, toothpaste, band-aids, soap, floss, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, lotion, baby powder, menstrual products, washcloths, chapstick, deodorant, etc.
If you would like to donate, please drop off items to the following locations:

Questions will range in topics from sports, geography, music, movies, history, etc., regarding Women’s History.
There will be 7 rounds with 9 questions in each round.

Egg Hunt
March 18-22
Each day, multiple eggs will be hidden around each campus for students to find. Each egg has a sweet treat inside of them.
Keep the eggs until the end of the week then send a picture of how many eggs you have collected to studentactivities@wvncc.edu.

In Our Own Voice - Living With Mental Health Conditions

Join the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for this interactive presentation that provides insight into what it’s like to live with mental illness.
NAMI In Our Own Voice is led by adults living with mental health conditions. Audiences are given a safe place to ask questions and gain understanding of an often-misunderstood topic. Through dialogue, we help grow the movement to build better lives.
In-person participation is preferred and encouraged; however, participation is also available via Zoom. Registration is required.
