Vision 2050 – Orange County’s New Comprehensive Plan
We are one of the fastest growing regions in the United States. In fact, by 2050 Orange County’s population is estimated to increase by 700,000, exceeding 2 million residents. We need to prepare for this growth in a smart and responsible way. Vision 2050 will substantially restructure the Orange County Comprehensive Plan, with a focus on resiliency, placemaking, affordability, context-driven planning and performance-based development. Find out how this updated roadmap will set us on a more sustainable path for the next 30 years.
2021 Redistricting
Every 10 years the Florida Constitution and the Orange County Charter require that the County’s Commission District boundaries be redrawn based on population growth. The redistricting process will start in October and this informative workshop will discuss Orange County’s role in redistricting, redistricting’s importance to County residents, and how County residents have a voice in redistricting.
